How is this funded?
The Carbon Buddy Project is a social and environmental impact investment funded by my wife and I as part of our personal commitment to climate change action. Our goal is to inspire and enable greater numbers of people to take more active steps to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
And what happens to the surplus?
At least 50% will be reinvested immediately into sustaining and expanding the project over time. If the sales of the manual are significant (which of course is what we hope for) there will be taxes to pay. Anything left will be used to recoup our investment…unless of course by then new social impact investment opportunities present themselves.
